For nearby destinations (France, Belgium, Netherlands), road freight is typically faster and more direct. For larger volumes or more distant destinations, sea freight or a combination can be more cost-effective. We’ll recommend the best option during your survey.
EUROPEAN REMOVALS||Can I take my car to Europe?
Vehicle import rules vary by country and have changed post-Brexit. Most European countries will require compliance checks, and right-hand drive vehicles may not be practical long-term. We’ll advise on the specific rules for your destination.
EUROPEAN REMOVALS||Are there any items I can't take through France?
Recent legislation means vehicles transiting France cannot carry more than a minimal amount of cigarettes or alcohol. If these items are found among household effects, large fines apply, plus delay costs for the vehicle and other consignments. We advise against including any tobacco or alcohol in your shipment.
