Duty-Free Entry
Used household goods are generally duty-free provided they’ve been owned and used for at least six months. You’ll need to prove you’ve applied for residency before your goods arrive, and you may need to show you lived in your origin country for at least 12 months prior to the move.
Transit Times
Transit times vary by transport method, consignment size, and destination within Ireland. As this is a road/ferry route, turnaround is significantly faster than sea freight destinations. We’ll confirm expected dates during your survey.
Vehicles
Motor vehicles may be imported duty-free if owned and used for 6+ months before shipment and not sold or disposed of within one year of importation. Vehicles can only be imported once you’ve arrived in Ireland.
