Local Surrey Removals, Run from Our Own Godstone Depot
Britannia Sandersteads isn’t a national brand with a Surrey postcode — we’re an actual Surrey removals firm, working out of our own depot at the Quarry Logistics Complex in Godstone. Being minutes from the M25, A22 and A25 lets our crews reach most of the county quickly, whether that’s a family home in Reigate, Leatherhead, Epsom or Warlingham, or a flat or fringe-of-London move in Kingston, Richmond, Bromley or Sanderstead. Same trucks, same crews, same depot — every time.
Surrey homes throw up their own quirks, and we’d rather sort them at the survey than on the day: a period cottage down a single-track lane, a new-build with one tight parking bay, a top-floor flat with no lift, or a listed house in a conservation area. Your surveyor (in person or by video) works out the volume, the access at both ends and the right crew size, then books any parking suspensions ahead of time. Move day itself is handled start to finish by our own team — everything from a full house move to a single-room office relocation.

We’re British Association of Removers (BAR) members, we were recognised in the National Quality Awards in both 2023 and 2024, and every job is done by our own full-time, trained crews rather than agency labour. Our Godstone site also holds over 1,000 containerised storage units, so we can look after your things before, between or after a move if your dates don’t quite line up.

What affects the cost of a Surrey removal?

Do you offer a free survey and quote?
Yes. A surveyor visits — or does a video walkthrough — to see the volume and access, and you get a written, itemised quote afterwards. No charge, no obligation.
How long will my move take?
Most local Surrey house moves are done within a day; larger homes or long-distance moves can run to two. We give you a realistic timeframe at the survey and stick to it.
Can you pack for me, and do you offer storage?
We can do a full pack, a part pack for just the fragile items, or supply materials for you to pack yourself. And because we run our own containerised storage at Godstone, your belongings can wait with us for as long as you need.
What if access or parking is difficult?
Tell us at the survey and we’ll plan around it — narrow lanes, gravel drives, permit parking or a flat with no lift. Where a bay needs suspending or a smaller shuttle vehicle is needed, we arrange it beforehand.
Is my move insured, and who carries it out?
Goods-in-transit cover is arranged for your move and confirmed on your quote. And your move is carried out by our own trained staff — never subcontracted agency crews.
