Removals to Canada
From Surrey to Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, or anywhere across Canada’s provinces. We handle the packing, the paperwork, and the customs interview prep – you focus on starting your new chapter.
What's Included in Our Canada Removals Service
Canada’s import process has a distinctive requirement that catches many people off guard: you must attend a customs interview in person with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) before your goods can be released. We prepare you for that process from day one, so there are no surprises when you land.
- Comprehensive CBSA documentation prepared in advance - including the detailed goods inventory required for your customs interview
- Sole use containers (8-9 weeks) or cost-effective groupage shipping (12-14 weeks) with weekly departures
- Export packing at your UK address with barcode tracking on every item in your consignment
- Door-to-door delivery by established Britannia agents across Canada, with unpacking and removal of materials

What happens at the CBSA customs interview?
You’ll visit your nearest customs office with your passport, visa, and the goods inventory we’ve prepared. The officer reviews what you’re importing and confirms duty-free eligibility. Your goods are typically released shortly after. We’ll make sure your paperwork is complete before you go.
Can I have my goods cleared before I arrive in Canada?
No – Canadian customs requires the shipper to be present in the country. We coordinate your shipping schedule so goods arrive after you’ve had time to settle and complete the CBSA process.
I'm a returning Canadian - do the ownership rules still apply?
If you’ve lived abroad for five or more years, the six-month ownership requirement is waived. We’ll confirm your eligibility based on your circumstances and ensure the documentation reflects your status as a returning national.
